The RAF Air Cadet Aviation Practice 2 Award has been developed through Lowland Reserve FCA and is awarded and certificated by SQA in partnership with Lowland RFCA. It has been designed to match the learning carried out by cadets as they progress in the organisation – in this case, to the level of Leading Cadet. It offers an opportunity for progression from the Air Cadet Aviation 1 Practice Award.
The award demonstrates a level of proficiency in a range of subjects, including teamwork and citizenship as well as an understanding of aviation-related principles, including airman-ship, flight and land navigation. This award is at level 6 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, and is worth 21 credits.
