Strategic Partner
The SCQF Partnership is a company limited by guarantee and is a Scottish registered charity. It is responsible for the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF), Scotland’s national qualifications framework, which helps employers and learners understand Scottish qualifications.
The framework provides a way of talking about, and comparing, qualifications, helping individuals make better choices about learning and to progress with their learning journey, and helping employers make better choices about staff recruitment and workforce development.
The SCQF brings together all the mainstream Scottish qualifications. It gives them credit points, which show how much learning has been achieved, and a level which shows how demanding the learning is.
The Mission of the SCQF Partnership is to ensure that the quality and integrity of the SCQF is maintained at all times and that the benefits of using the Framework are fully promoted to all stakeholders across Scotland and beyond.
