The RSPB has partnered with the WWF and the Leadership Skills Foundation to develop an inspiring programme which gives young people the chance to grow as leaders through Learning for Sustainability activities. Employing hands-on learning and practical projects, participants build confidence, teamwork and problem-solving skills while taking positive action for nature and the environment.
The programme is particularly powerful for engaging and supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering them meaningful opportunities to develop skills, find their voice, and lead change within their own communities. By putting their ideas into action, learners gain a sense of purpose and achievement that can have a lasting impact on their future.
The Level 3 Qualification in Leading a Project for Positive Change enables successful learners to develop the skills to plan, lead and evaluate a project that aims to have a positive impact on them, their community and the environment. For the ELP, learners are required to focus on leading a project for positive change to the benefit of our natural world.
