Prince’s Trust Achieve Programme

The Scotland Partnerships and Volunteering team look after all things education. We coordinate our 5 education programmes: Achieve, Achieve for Younger Learners, Mosaic, Enterprise Challenge and Achieve Project Awards, as well as our Team Programme and Youth Guarantee Programme for 16 and overs. 

Regulated by SQA Accreditation

As an awarding body, The Prince’s Trust is regulated by SQA Accreditation to design, offer and award qualifications in Scotland.

Insight Tariff Points

The Prince’s Trust Personal Development and Employability Skills qualifications are included in Insight and have Tariff points awarded.

Positive outcomes

Skills Development Scotland found that 98% of young people that completed our qualifications had successful outcomes. This includes 82% moving on to Further/Higher Education.

 

The Prince’s Trust Achieve programme is a flexible, free personal development programme.

It is designed to support and empower students aged 11-19 (and up to 25 with SEN statement or EHCP) who may need additional assistance to succeed in education.

It supports education providers by providing free learning resources and guidance for you to deliver flexibly in your setting. There is also the option for Achieve learners to gain a Prince’s Trust qualification. Our qualifications are regulated by the appropriate regulatory bodies.

The Achieve programme helps learners to develop skills and experience for life, whilst building their confidence to realise their potential.

Outcome

Complete flexibility. Tailor the Achieve programme to the needs of your learners, your timetable, and your curriculum. You decide what topics to deliver and how to deliver them.

Free session plans and resources. Join the Achieve network and receive free access to our library of resources. Our Achieve resources cover topics from Career planning, Sustainability to Money Management. Browse our library to look at the full range.

Regulated qualification options. We offer two qualifications – both regulated by the appropriate regulatory bodies (location dependent). You can decide whether your learners work towards these.

Designated support. Support from a Prince’s Trust contact as you deliver the Achieve programme.

Free training. We provide free training to all staff who will be delivering the Achieve programme.

Networking events. Networking opportunities are provided throughout the year. This gives you the opportunity to meet other Achieve partners and share best practice.
